You are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of Kingsley Parish Council on 27th May via Zoom 7.30pm.
AGENDA
1. Election of Chair of the Council for 2020/2021 and Declaration of Acceptance of Office
2. Election of Vice Chair of the Council for 2020/2021
The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 (found here) have now been issued and will come into force on 4 April 2020. Regulation 4 (2) carries the current appointment of chairman on until the Annual Meeting in May 2021 although councils may elect a chairman at earlier meeting should they wish to.

10. Appoint councillors as representatives to any outside bodies and agree reporting terms to Council
11. Asset Register – To review the inventory of land and assets owned by the Parish Council
12. Insurance Cover- To review the cover provided in the current long term agreement with Zurich
13. Review of Council’s Procedures – To agree council policies and procedures to include Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, Publication Scheme, FOI requests, GDPR & press/media.
14. Meeting dates for 2020/2021 – To agree dates for the forthcoming year

17. Annual Return & Governance Statements 2019/2020
a) To note the Annual Internal Audit Report signed by the Internal Auditor
b) To consider & agree responses to the Accounting Statements in Section 1 and approve Section 1
c) To approve the Accounting Statements in Section 2
d) To confirm the dates for the exercise of public rights to inspect accounting records to be Monday 15th June to Friday 24th July 2020
18. Finance
a) To approve payments included on Payment Schedule
b) To receive a financial report from the Clerk
19. Update on Lower Green/Sandy Lane access – To discuss and agree a way forward reference access issues raised.
20. Remembrance Sunday – Reconfirm application to close/calm traffic measures during 2 minute silence in light of Corona Virus
21. Website – To review packages and agree a contractor.
22. Defibrillator – To discuss a proposal to purchase and install a defibrillator.
